PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing wall which has a simple structure, but can arrange the shaft centers of brace members intersecting each other, in one plane so as not to be eccentric, and can ensure excellent rigidity and proof stress. SOLUTION: The bearing wall incorporates the brace members 3, 4 in an X shape in a square framework 2 so as to intersect each other. One brace member 3 among the brace members 3, 4 incorporated in an X shape is provided with a frame split turnbuckle barrel 25 at a portion intersecting the other brace member 4. The other brace member 4 is inserted through the frame inside 25c of the turnbuckle barrel 25, so that the shaft centers of the brace members 3, 4 are arranged in one plane.
