<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for flame-retarding and dyeing a polyester fiber to give a polyester fiber having excellent flame retardancy while reducing the quantity of a halogen-based flame-retardant compound discharged to the environment. <P>SOLUTION: The process for flame-retarding and dyeing a polyester fiber includes: a flame-retarding process to immerse a polyester fiber in a flame-retardant treatment liquid containing a halogen-based flame-retardant, exhaust the halogen-based flame retardant compound in the flame-retardant by adsorbing to the polyester fiber and take out the polyester fiber from the flame-retardant treatment liquid; a flame-retardant treatment liquid preparation process to replenish the remaining flame-retardant treatment liquid after taking out the polyester fiber with deficient amount of the halogen-based flame-retardant to get the quantity necessary for the flame-retardant treatment and prepare the flame-retardant treatment liquid; and a dyeing treatment process to immerse the polyester fiber in a dyeing treatment liquid after taking the fiber out of the flame-resisting treatment liquid, thereby dyeing the polyester fiber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
