<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous metal oxide coated cathode active substance to be used for forming a lithium secondary battery in which a cycle property is improved and deterioration of an output property is controlled. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a porous metal oxide coated cathode active substance includes a sol-gel process in which a gel film in which a metal organic compound and a micellar surfactant are dispersed and deposited is formed on a surface of a cathode active substance, and a calcining process in which the surfactant is discomposed and removed and a porous metal oxide coating layer, in which pores through which lithium ion moves are formed on the surface of the cathode active substance, is formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
