<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter capable of preventing the buildup of a boundary part between a black matrix and a color pixel, thereby obtaining a high-quality image, to provide a method of manufacturing the color filter, and to provide a liquid crystal display device. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the color filter includes: a stage where a photosensitive dark composition layer is formed on a substrate, the photosensitive dark composition is exposed and developed to form a black matrix pattern, in which the lower edge is located at -3.0 to +3.0 μm to the upper edge, and is baked to form a black matrix; and a colored pattern formation stage where a photosensitive colored composition layer is formed on the black matrix layer, and is exposed, developed and baked to form a colored pattern in such a manner that the distance in the width direction of the black matrix of an overlapped part overlapped with the black matrix after the baking reaches 1.0 to 12 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
