<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extract accurate timing information of data received through an environment of large jitter on a transmission path. <P>SOLUTION: A clock output section D generates a latch count concerning regenerated clocks. A free running clock generating section B operates a count of free running clocks by oscillating a free running clock asynchronous with a source clock. A timing information output section A extracts a timing information data value from input data and extracts timing information based on the timing information data value, the latch count and the count of free running clocks. A frequency control section C supplies values, obtained by multiplying the results of phase comparison between the timing information data value and the latch count, and phase comparison of predifference between a free running clock output value and the latch count by a weighting factor, as control values to the clock output section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
