<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image group which is likely to browse from an image group of images differing in photographed principal subject size and position. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes a first arithmetic means of calculating a position shift amount between two different images with respect to the position of a predetermined area including a principal subject in the images, a second arithmetic means of calculating an area other than the predetermined area in the two images, and a third arithmetic means of trimming the area other than the predetermined area in the two images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
