<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brush pad having a higher durability than conventional abrasive pads such as a nonwoven fabric pad, having higher abrasive performance at minute recesses than conventional brush pads, capable of reducing the volume of waste produced when the pad is replaced due to wear, capable of providing a brush with high durability and abrasive performance, and enabling a brush and the backup member, which eliminates the replacement of a backup member, to be easily detachable with a sufficient holding force. <P>SOLUTION: In this brush pad with a hook-and-loop fastener, a plurality of short fibers 12 are bonded to one surface of a sheet-like base 11 generally vertically to the surface of the base.
