PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoconductor having a long operating life, excellent electronic properties and stable electric properties. SOLUTION: The photoconductor contains an optional supporting substrate, a charge generating layer, a charge transport layer, and a top overcoating layer in contact with and adjacent to the charge transport layer, wherein the overcoating layer contains a self-crosslinking acrylic resin, a charge transport component, and a low surface energy additive.
