PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor for driving a recording disc which not only cannot use a molding die commonly among various models of disc drive but also readily constitute a high-precision labyrinth seal, and exhibits superior reliability and durability. SOLUTION: A gap 45 is formed between the inner circumferential surface of an annular portion 211 and the outer circumferential surface of a boss portion 34. A substantially annular circumferential wall portion 62 is arranged in the gap 45. The outer circumferential surface of the circumferential wall portion 62 faces the inner circumferential surface of the annular portion 211 in the radial direction, and the inner circumferential surface of the circumferential wall portion 62 faces the outer circumferential surface of the boss portion 34 in the radial direction. The outer circumferential surface of the circumferential wall portion 62 is close to the inner circumferential surface of the annular portion 211, and a minute gap is formed between the circumferential wall portion 62 and the annular portion 211.
