PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a column spacer which has excellent rubbing resistance without being shaved on its surface by rubbing treatment in a liquid crystal display element production process and can produce a liquid crystal display element causing no gravity failure or low-temperature foaming, a curable resin composition for a column spacer forming the column spacer, and a liquid crystal display element. SOLUTION: The curable resin composition for the column spacer contains an alkali-soluble polymer compound, a compound having two or more polymerizable unsaturated bonds in the molecule, a fluorine-containing compound having a polymerizable unsaturated bond, and a photoreaction initiator.
