PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically correct an offset value of a displacement amount obtained by second-order-integrating acceleration. SOLUTION: In an active vibration controller, a body 12 for supporting an excitation source is supported by an intermediate body 13 via an intermediate elastic member 14. The active vibration controller is provided with an actuator 15 between the body 12 and the intermediate body 13, calculates displacement speeds v of the intermediate body 13 by integrating acceleration "a" measured by an accelerometer 21, calculates displacement amounts p of the intermediate body 13 by reintegrating the displacement speeds v, statistically processes the displacement amounts p to calculate a displacement amount offset valueΔp included in the displacement amounts p, corrects the displacement amounts p based on the displacement amount offset valueΔp, calculates a damping displacement amount pa for canceling the vibration of the intermediate body 13 based on the displacement speeds v and the displacement amounts p, and outputs a command signal 34A for generating the damping displacement amount pa to the actuator 15.
