PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely release a latch mechanism with a simple structure of less number of components and to attain manufacturing cost reduction and to release the latch mechanism in door with a simple operation. SOLUTION: Normally when a lever type outdoor handle 4 is turned in the pulling direction, a pushing rod 35 is pushed to directly turn a release lever 34, causing the release lever 34 to be engaged with a latch member 32 to move the latch member 32 to the position for releasing the latch member from a receiving seat 2. In an emergency, a lever type indoor handle 5 is turned in the handle pushing direction, to directly drive the release lever 34, causing the release lever 34 to be engaged with the latch member 32 to move the latch member 32 to the position for releasing the latch member 32 from the receiving seat 2.
