PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing structure for a sliding shutter, which can prevent unauthentic invasion into a building, and allows the operator to easily carry out shutter opening/closing operation. SOLUTION: The reinforcing structure 1 for the sliding shutter is formed of: a shutter curtain 3 obtained by connecting a plurality of slats 3a to each other; a pair of right and left guide rails 4b, 4a for guiding the shutter curtain 3; and a shutter case 5 for winding up and housing the shutter curtain 3 therein. The reinforcing structure is further composed of: a shutter reinforcing base material 6 having one end thereof rotatably mounted on an upper end of one of the guide rails 4a and the other end thereof opened; a length adjusting member 7 inserted into the shutter reinforcing base material 6; and a connection member 8a rotatably connected to a distal end of the length adjusting member 7, and detachably attachable to the shutter curtain 3 vertically sliding according to the guide of the other guide rail 4b.
