PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid, curable resin composition which gives a cured product showing a low Young's modulus and excellent flexibility and which is useful as a primary material for an optical fiber in particular. SOLUTION: The liquid, curable resin composition contains the following components (A), (B) and (C): (A) 60-85 mass% of a urethane (meth)acrylate; (B) 10-30 mass% of a polymerizable unsaturated monomer; and (C) 0.01-5 mass% of a polymerization initiator. The component (A) comprises the following (A1), (A2) and (A3) which are urethane meth(acrylates) having constituent units each derived from a polyether diol compound, a diisocyanate compound and a hydroxyl group-containing meth(acrylate) compound and having 2-5 structural units derived from the polyether diol compound: (A1) a urethane (meth)acrylate having two (meth)acryloyl groups in an amount of 40-60 mass% in the component (A); (A2) a urethane (meth)acrylate having one (meth)acryloyl group and one structure represented by -NHCOOR<SP>1</SP>(wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a 1-3C alkyl group) in an amount of 20-35 mass% in the component (A); and (A3) a urethane (meth)acrylate having one (meth)acryloyl group and one structure represented by -NHCOSR<SP>2</SP>(wherein R<SP>2</SP>is a monovalent group having a trialkylsilyl structure) in an amount of 5-10 mass% in the component (A).
