PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air floating type conveying apparatus capable of performing conveyance without a hitch even if there are step portions on the floor surface of a conveying path. SOLUTION: A box body 3, in which baggage W can be placed on the top face, is provided with an air chamber 2 supplied with air. An air jet body 4 is arranged on the bottom face of the air chamber. The air jet body includes a plate-like air jet member 11 formed with plenty of holes 11a and an air dispersing member 12 disposed on the top face of the air jet member to disperse air. In order to inflate the central portion of the air jet member downward when the air chamber is supplied with air so as to float the box body from the floor surface, the air jet member and the air dispersing member employ synthetic resin material.
