PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tapping tool capable of easily carrying out tapping work without breaking and damaging a tap by a load generated on the tap in carrying out the tapping work by the tap on a through-hole or a bag hole drilled and provided on a steel material, etc. SOLUTION: An outer periphery of a tap holder is formed of the hard steel material, a copper alloy, etc. are fitted and inserted into the inside of the steel material, the through-hole to hold the tap is provided on the copper alloy, a presser bolt a head end of which is furnished with a spherical pressurizing piece free to oscillate by flattening a part of hard cemented carbide and the steel material is structured by screwing it in a hole opened by facing the through-hole, a tap shank part is pressurized by the presser bolt, the tap is firmly held in carrying out thread cutting work by arranging a plurality of the presser bolts by slipping their position in the axial direction of the tap and in the circumferential direction of the tap in using a plurality of the presser bolts, and it is structured to prevent breakage and damaging of the tap by reducing the load by slipping in the inside of the inner peripheral member when the load is generated on the tap.
