PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for fitting support members to a vertical post from both front surfaces at the same height for a display rack to be installed at the center of a room. SOLUTION: The vertical post 1 includes a vertical locking part for slits 17 and webs 18, which are alternately disposed, wherein a connecting part 21 of a primary support member 2 set for directly hanging merchandise or holding a secondary support member can be suitable for the locking parts for the slits 17 and webs 18, the locking parts for the slits 17 and webs 18 of the vertical post 1 are disposed in an intermediate web 13 so that two vertical columns parallel to each other are mirror symmetrical, the respective columns of the locking parts for the slits 17 and webs 18 are partitioned by an outer leg part and an inner leg part of the post 1, each one gap 12 is located between both leg parts, and both gaps 12 enable work to both locking parts of the slits 17 and webs 18 from the front surface 19 of the vertical post 1.
