<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The seat (1) has a storage compartment (3) i.e. shear panel, arranged on a lower side of a seat cushion part (2) and formed in a movable manner via a guide device (4) relative to the cushion part. The seat is adjustable by a longitudinal adjustment device (5). The guide device is arranged at a base side and has a coupling, by which the guide device and/or the storage compartment is moved together with the cushion part during the longitudinal adjustment of the seat. The coupling is provided between movable adjusting rails of adjusting rail pairs of the adjustment device and the guide device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Seat for a motor vehicle for storing an object. Uses include but are not limited to purchased objects packed in open paper bag, briefcase, handbag, pilot case i.e. carry-bag, or shopping basket. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The guide device is arranged at the base side and has the coupling, by which the guide device and/or the storage compartment is moved together with the seat cushion part during the longitudinal adjustment of the seat, thus obtaining space under the seat cushion part that can be used for storing the objects in an optimized manner at a small expenditure, without intervention into the seat structure. The guide device is connected with the longitudinal adjustment device by the coupling, thus enabling the front blind of the storage compartment to be led back up to the seat cushion part. The seat eliminates a gap between the front blind and the seat cushion part, and enables the accessibility of the front blind.
