<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input support apparatus, which generates an input candidate based on the relevance between a temporal position in reference information and a spatial position in user input. <P>SOLUTION: The input support apparatus is provided with: a storage unit 104 for associating and storing second notation information indicating notation of a constituent of reference information for user input and order information indicating temporal order in the reference information of the constituent; a storage unit 105 for storing an input history including notation information, order information corresponding to the notation information, and input position information if the notation information on a past user input is second notation information; an estimation unit 106 for estimating a search range for reference information based on the input position information and the input history; and a second generation unit 107 for retrieving a constituent having second notation information coincident at least partially with first notation information from the search range of the reference information and for generating a second input candidate having the retrieved second notation information and a second input candidate having corresponding order information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
