<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen supply apparatus capable of separating hydrogen from a hydrogen containing gas even when the concentration of hydrogen is low and suppressing the noise in its operation. <P>SOLUTION: The hydrogen supply apparatus, for supplying hydrogen by making selectively permeating hydrogen contained in a hydrogen containing gas G1, is equipped with a first metal layer 2 having hydrogen permeability while dissociating hydrogen molecule to hydrogen ions by catalysis, a second metal layer 3 having hydrogen permeability while combining hydrogen ions by using electron to form hydrogen molecule, a hydrogen permeation layer 1 permeating the hydrogen ions from the first metal layer 2 side to the second metal layer 3 side by applying a voltage while being inserted between the first metal layer 2 and the second metal layer 3, and a voltage applying means 7 for applying the voltage to the hydrogen permeation layer 1 by using the first metal layer 2 as an anode and the second metal layer 3 as a cathode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
