PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the switching from a non-delivery waveform to a delivery waveform without needing useless delivery data. SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device is equipped with: a head part 2 which drives a nozzle 21 by the inputting of a drive waveform Sw, delivery data Sd, a clock signal Sc and a latch signal Sl; a delivery waveform formation part 31 which forms a delivery waveform Swa for making an ink discharged from the nozzle 21; a non-delivery waveform formation part 32 which forms the non-delivery waveform Swb for making the ink swing in the nozzle 21; a waveform selecting signal formation part 34 which outputs the first waveform selecting signal Ska from the clock signal Sc; and a drive waveform selecting means 35 which selects the delivery waveform Swa as the drive waveform Sw from the first waveform selecting signal Ska and outputs it to the head part 2. The waveform selecting signal formation part 34 outputs the first waveform selecting signal Ska, in the case where the clock signal Sc is outputted to the head part 2 when the non-delivery waveform Swb has been selected as the drive waveform Sw.
