PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bug detector for easily detecting a bug while the distance to the location of the bug can be visually determined. SOLUTION: Disclosed is the bug detector which generates a specific sound and determines whether a received sound is generated by itself to detect the bug. The bug detector includes a sound volume control unit 1091 which controls the output level of the specific sound in a stepwise manner according to a bug detection result, and a display unit 111 providing display corresponding to the output level of the sound volume control unit 1091.
