PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an image forming apparatus which can materialize a use limitation of resources by a program appropriately; an information processing method; and an information processing program. SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus has a plurality of program execution environments and can add a program to at least part of the program execution environments. In order to solve the problem, the image forming apparatus has: a storing means for recording use permission information indicating whether or not the use is permitted by the program execution environment concerning the resources of the image forming apparatus; and a determining means for determining whether or not the resources by the program which is executed in any of the plurality of program execution environments are permitted to use, based on the use permission information.
