PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable rotation angle detection apparatus without degrading in sensor performance even used for a long time by insert molding a magnetic circuit part into inside the plastic final gear. SOLUTION: Yokes 33 and magnets 34 are in surface contact with an abutting surface 38 along the X direction parallel to the straight line passing through the center of an arc of each yoke 33 and a rotation center in the view in the axial direction. Thereby, even if a clearance of X direction is secularly changed by creeping of the plastic final gear 23 and the magnetic circuit 31, the state of surface contact is continued through the abutting surface 38 of the yoke 33 and the magnet 34, and the defect due to variation in sensor performance of the rotation angle detection apparatus 6 can be evaded and high reliability can be obtained. On both the ends of the yokes 33, protruding parts 39 are provided integrally respectively for holding the magnet 34 between both the yokes respectively, therefore the magnetic circuit 31 can be held approximately in a cylindrically assembled state without using a jig before the insert molding, therefore the productivity can be raised.
