PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow measuring device with reduced consumption power. SOLUTION: The flow measuring device generates a rotating magnetic field by a passing fluid and measures a flow rate, based on the output signal of a lead switch which turns on/off by the rotating magnetic field. While the lead switch detects the flow rate, power is supplied steadily to the lead switch. If the lead switch does not detect the flow rate, the power is supplied steadily while the switch goes into an off state, and power is supplied with a sampling frequency, while the switch goes into an on state.
