PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access device having a platform structure movable between a suspension structure and a working position extended outward from the suspension structure. SOLUTION: The access device includes a structure, a support structure for suspending the suspension structure through an access opening, and a platform assembly. The platform assembly has the platform structure movable between a storage position substantially adjacent to the suspension structure and the working position extended outward from the suspension structure.
