<p>A troughed plate insert and support below this or the support and the foil used as chocolate wrapper are reciprocally electrostatically charged by means of contact strips which hang down and rest gently on them so that when the mould is closed the support, trough and foil as appropriate are held together via a conducting layer. This layer can be sprayed, vaporised, embedded, trowelled in or onto the appropriate member of the trough/support or support/foil pair, depending on the material of the pair. This reduces the charge power required, spreads the charge more effectively over the surfaces in contact and provides more reliable securement during the critical mould closing operation.</p> |
