The chisel holder (2) has a borehole for retaining of a cylindrical shaft of a chisel (3) that is rotated around a longitudinal axis (10). A channel (K) is provided, which forms a connection from a retaining section of the borehole for retaining the cylindrical shaft up to a free environment of the chisel holder. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a chisel holder arrangement, which has a chisel holder with a borehole; and (2) a clamping sleeve for fixing a chisel in a borehole.
