PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lower hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst which enhances the activity lifetime stability of methane conversion rate, benzene production rate, naphthalene production rate and BTX production rate (total production rate of benzene, toluene and xylene).
SOLUTION: The lower hydrocarbon aromatization catalyst is obtained by treating zeolite comprised of metallosilicate with a silane compound having a larger molecular diameter than the micropore caliber of the zeolite, and an amino group and linear hydrocarbon group to selectively react with the Bronsted acid site of the zeolite, and making molybdenum and silver carried thereon. It is preferable that molybdenum is carried so that its carried amount may become 2-12 wt.% to the total amount of the catalyst after calcination, and that the silver is carried so that the molar ratio with molybdenum Ag:Mo=X:1 may become 0.01-0.8. The silane compound includes APTES as an example. It is better that the silane compound is supplied to the silane treatment so that the addition amount of the silane compound becomes less than 2.5 wt.% to the total amount of the catalyst.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
