摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronically-controlled throttle body for facilitating size reduction of a device by shortening an axis distance of a motor shaft and a valve shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The electronically-controlled throttle body includes: a throttle valve havings a body 4, the valve shaft 7 rotatably supported in the body and a valve disc 9, fixed on the valve shaft, for varying an opening area of an air-intake passage 8 formed in the body; a speed reduction mechanism 2 connected to the valve shaft of the throttle valve; and a motor 3 connected to the speed reduction mechanism; drive power from the motor is transmitted to the valve shaft via the speed reduction mechanism, and the opening area of the air intake passage is varied by rotatably moving the valve disc. The speed reduction mechanism 2 includes a planetary gear mechanism and a spur gear mechanism, drive power from the motor is decelerated by the planetary gear mechanism, and the decelerated drive power is further decelerated by a spur gear speed reduction mechanism, and then transmitted to the valve shaft 7. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p>
