<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase power transmission efficiency by suppressing generation of an eddy current in a magnetic material. <P>SOLUTION: This non-contact power transmission apparatus is provided with a secondary power-receiving coil 1 for receiving power from a primary power transmitting coil, and a magnetic material 2 is arranged at least on one surface of the coil 1. The magnetic material 2 has slits 4 formed on a surface parallel to facing surfaces of both the coils. The slits formed on the magnetic material for improving power transmission efficiency suppresses an eddy current generated by passage of magnetic flux through the magnetic material, whereby heat loss is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
