<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus 10 that reduces the volume of dictionary data loaded on a main storage part and increase the processing speed of kana character conversion. <P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus 10 specifies a genre corresponding to a word input by a user in response to the user's operation, loads dictionary data constituted of words of the predetermined genre on the main storage part, and performs kana-kanji conversion processing using the dictionary data on the main storage part.
