<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a multifocus antenna which can ensure isolation of transmit/receive and also have plural focuses of an object surface. <P>SOLUTION: In this multifocus antenna, a primary radiator for transmission and receiving is arranged on the axis of lens. As focal depth will broaden if target is near the lens, transmitting antenna and transceiving antenna have been arranged in its focal area. When transmitting antenna and receiving antenna are located in this position conversely, focal area of the object surface moves back and forth on the axis of lens, however, the target can clearly be imaged without being defocused because depth of field is deeper. Additionally, high isolation can be obtained through span loss and back lobe property between transmitting antenna and receiving antenna. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
