<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve re-startability after engine stop while increasing output of the engine in an engine control device automatically stopping the engine when prescribed automatic stop conditions are satisfied and re-starting the engine when prescribed re-start conditions are satisfied. <P>SOLUTION: This device is provided with an exhaust turbocharger and a movable vane capable of changing flow speed of exhaust gas flowing into a turbine of the exhaust turbocharger, puts the movable vane in a fully closed state when the engine goes in a light load operation state, and puts the movable vane in a fully opened state (step S14) when automatic stop conditions are satisfied (judgment in step S10 becomes Yes) and the engine is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
