<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly determine which one of units is an active system even when any one of signal levels of system selecting signals output from the units, respectively, is fixed in an apparatus duplexed by the unit of a first system and the unit of a second unit. <P>SOLUTION: In a duplexed apparatus, units 4N, 4E of a first system and a second system comprise: system selecting signal generation circuits 11N, 11E, 14N, 14E each for generating a system selecting signal indicating, using different pulse signals, whether unit itself is an active system or a reserve system; other system selecting signal detection circuits 13N, 13E each for detecting a system selecting signal output from the unit of the other system; and system switching circuits 15N, 16N, 15E, 16E each for switching the unit itself to the active system when the system selecting signal output from the unit of the other system, that is the active system, is changed from a state indicative of the active system into the other state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
