PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal processing device capable of being configured inexpensively. SOLUTION: The image signal processing device 1 includes: an edge detecting section 11, a movement detecting section 12, and a corrected image data output section 13. The edge detecting section 11 detects an edge of an image obtained by the image data of each frame of an input image signal. The movement detecting section 12 detects the direction and speed of the movement of the image obtained by the image data of each frame of the input image signal. The corrected image data output section 13 is configured such that among image data of frames of the input image signals, image data in an area on either side of an edge detected by the edge detecting section 11 is corrected according to the direction and speed of the movement of the image detected by the movement detecting section 12, and the corrected image data is output to the liquid crystal display device 2.
