PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a newspaper holder equipped with a double-sided viewing-aid board characterized by allowing a user to look at and read the newspaper without the paper surface hanging down when reading the newspaper kept on a file in the holder. SOLUTION: A thin board having the same size as newspaper, with a plurality of through-holes and rigidity, is attached onto the side opposite to the opening of the binding port of the newspaper of a newspaper holder shaft, or the portion to be attached to the shaft is made of a flexible material so as to curve freely, to constitute the newspaper holder with the double-sided viewing-aid board.
