PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more properly and efficiently set values of a weighting table in a center-weighted metering system in accordance with photographing conditions. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus 100 equipped with an imaging part 1 imaging a subject and forming an image frame includes a CPU 71 which performs processing to change two or more kinds of parameters out of a plurality of kinds of weighting parameters such as position, number, size, locality and weight amount related to weighting of a weighted-metering area in the weighting table related to automatic exposure processing based on the photographing conditions specified by photographing conditions specifying processing.
