PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool prevented from coming out of a waist belt in any operation and movement when the power tool is hung on the waist belt, and having a highly safe hanging means not obstructing a worker when the power tool is used. SOLUTION: This power tool comprises a motor serving as a drive source and a housing 2 which stores a body section 4 for storing the motor and a handle grip section 5 formed integrally with the body section 4. A loop clutch holding part 10 attached to the housing 2 comprises a base 11 secured to the housing 2, a cover 13 for securing a loop clutch 9, and a fixing member 14 for fixing the base 11 and the cover 13.
