<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel sequence related for use in the diagnosis and treatment of carcinomas (especially breast cancers). <P>SOLUTION: Provided are compositions and methods in cancer associated with altered expression of TBX21. Provided is a method for screening a medicine candidate. The method includes the processes of: (a) a process for providing a cell which contains a nucleic acid sequence selected from the group consisting of a specific sequence and its fragments and expresses a cancer-associated (CA) gene, (b) a process for adding the medicine candidate to the cell, and (c) a process for determining the effect of the medicine candidate in the expression of the CA gene. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
