摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light emitting device hardly causing mechanical stress due to heat generation, and excelling in a heat radiation property.

SOLUTION: This semiconductor light emitting device having a semiconductor light emitting element mounted on a metal substrate is characterized in that the coefficient of thermal expansion of metal constituting the metal substrate is equivalent to that of the semiconductor light emitting element.
