<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a static output generated in the form of a transistor from a strong current caused by the increase of the current flowing through the output, in its starting and stabilizing phase. <P>SOLUTION: A control and protect system has a switching apparatus 10 which has a load resistance R10 and a MOS switching transistor T10 capable of switching between a current applying state for feeding a current to an electrical load C connected to the load resistance R10 in series and a current cutting-off state, and further, has a restricting apparatus 20 which restricts the terminal voltage of the load resistance R10 to a predetermined maximum value, and moreover, has a cutting-off apparatus 30 which can switch the switching transistor T10 to its cutting-off state when the current flowing through the load resistance R10 exceeds a predetermined threshold over a predetermined elapse time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
