MOVING IMAGE AUTOMATICALLY SUMMARIZING DEVICE AND METHOD, UTILIZING FUZZY BASED CHARACTERISTIC SUPPORT VECTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video-summary generating technique capable of instantaneously accessing a desired video sight by determining the contents of a video at a glance by extracting an important video segment by the given video and extracting a series of key frames from the important video segment. SOLUTION: A human subjective decision is reflected for effectively generating a video summary by utilizing a fuzzy based One-Class SVM, and a plan for generating a video-summary information in a flexible form conformed to the environment of a user and demand conditions is presented. The contents of the video are determined at a glance and the desired video sight can be accessed instantaneously by extracting the important video segment by the given video and extracting a series of the key frames from the important video segment.
