PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal power supply management method, as well as, a program display terminal and a terminal power supply management program, capable of effectively improving the power consumption, at a terminal which is not displaying a program by controlling the power supply of the terminal, without the risk of making program display interrupted. SOLUTION: When UPS starts supplying of power source to an advertisement display terminal, a power supply of the advertisement display terminal is turned on, interlocked therewith. The advertisement display terminal displays a program, in accordance with an advertisement display schedule, while downloading a program file, in accordance with an advertisement DL schedule. The advertisement display terminal, upon the completion of display of an advertisement program, makes a reference to an advertisement DL progression status and extends an advertisement display terminal completion time, or puts it ahead, as required. Then, the advertisement display terminal turns off power supplying of the advertisement display terminal at a modified advertisement display terminal completion time. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
