PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a plasma display panel having a diagonal distance of image display region of 3 m or more in which exhaust of air inside is made in a short time and high quality image display is realized. SOLUTION: The plasma display panel 1 includes a front plate 2 in which a plurality of display electrodes are arranged and a rear plate 9 in which data electrodes are arranged so as to cross the display electrodes arranged facing each other so as to form a display space interposing a barrier rib 13 in-between, and the peripheral portions of the front plate 2 and the rear plate 9 are pasted up by a sealing material 16. The diagonal distance of the image display region 15 is 3 m or more, and the spacing between a region 61 forming the barrier rib 13 and a region 62 forming the sealing material 16 is made 16 mm or more and 22 mm or less.
