PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bit address pattern making method and a read-out method, a disk shaped recording medium, and an information recording device in which a reading error rate by reading the vicinity of a boundary of a track in a servo pattern can be reduced. SOLUTION: A bit address pattern is made on a disk type recording medium used for an information recording device of a variable track width system. When the bit address pattern is formed in the servo pattern provided at each of a plurality of sectors provided along the track of the circumference shape, the bit address pattern is formed at a position being different in the radial direction for each sector.
