PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system using a mobile agent technique, which relatively reduces costs necessary for system configuration by reducing the memory consumption of monitoring terminals. SOLUTION: In the remote monitoring system using the mobile agent technique, the monitoring terminals 20 run diagnostic programs 10 included in mobile programs 100 in the consolidated program execution environment to reduce the memory consumption related to the program execution environments.
