A nematocide having nematocidal activity is provided to have excellent nematocidal effect without harmfulness to human and cattle. A nematocidal activity on Bursaphelenchus xylophilus contains essential oil of ajowan, allspice, litsea, coriander, styrax, or valerian. A method for manufacturing the essential oil of plants comprises: a step of putting Trachyspermum ammi, Pimenta dioica, Litsea cubeba, Coriandrum sativum, Liquidamber orientalis, and Valeriana wallichi in the size of 0.5~3cm in a container for extracting essential oil; a step of putting water to heat the container; and a step of cooling steam to obtain essential oil. |
