A vertical field effect organic solar cell is provided to manufacture the organic solar cell having superior quantum efficiency. The anode(20) and cathode(22) receive holes and electrons and supply current. The photovoltaic layer(24) produces electron-hole pair form the sunlight and separates hole and electrons. The insulating layer(30) and gate electrode(32) are successively formed in the outer surface of the countering electrode. The electric potential is applied to the gate electrode to control the energy level between the photovoltaic layer of the countering electrode and the counter electrode neighboring. The electric potential of the gate electrode is delivered to the photovoltaic layer of the countering electrode neighboring and counter electrode. The hole receptor and electron-receptor are mixed in the photovoltaic layer. |
