An impact absorption apparatus for road installation is provided to easily carry out installation due to less components and to absorb kinetic energy of vehicular shock in a vehicular collision. An impact absorption apparatus for road installation is comprised of single shock absorbing units(100a,100b,100c,100d) which are successively arranged along the longitudinal direction and are assembled. The single shock absorbing unit comprises a cylindrical corrugated pipe(12) and a pair of base plates(10) and is installed in order to slide on the rail(14) which is installed on the surface of the installation section of the road in advance. The cylindrical corrugated pipe is formed along the longitudinal direction of a plurality of corrugated grooves(16) at a constant interval in order to make contraction amooth in a vehicular collision. A plurality of shock absorbing holes(20) are formed through in the surface so that the internal air is ejected to the outside in the vehicular collision and the contraction of the cylindrical corrugated pipe is more smoothly performed.
